Alice is one
of the main protagonist
of Betty Danon's work.
She
was born in 1976 when Betty Danon, in order to have a
dear friend of her smile,
like
Lewis Carroll's heroine goes beyond the door without door
and
find herself in the land of rainbows, in
Rainbowland,
a
huge stive-bridge of air water light gathering everybody’s
“sounds”.
Rainbowland,
becomes the poetic symbol of elsewhere, the alibi, the password
to
the threshold of the absurd, to the magic,
to
the mythical concept of time and space.
It
becomes the
opportunity to climb over walls and play with others.
